Cloudy Bay wine defined New Zealand wine and firmly established the Marlborough wine region internationally. So when they wanted to create presence at an event synonymous with their world leading wine, naturally they chose a world leading event - RHS Chelsea Flower Show - and they asked us to make it happen.

If you've ever been to Chelsea Flower Show, you'll know that every square foot is crammed with stalls and show gardens that make this annual premium event the best destination during British Summertime.

There was a piece of land that nobody had been able to utilise because it was a steep grass verge. Determined to find a solution to the problem, W3 surveyed the plot at Chelsea and designed a base frame that compensated for the gradient of the plot so that a large decked area could be built and the bar area created. The result is a destination bar in a quiet part of the flower show that has proved enormously popular every year since we first set foot in the space in 2013.

Populated with the same planting around the bar that features in the Cloudy Bay show garden, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the crowds at CHELSEA and provides a convivial atmosphere in which the public can relax and enjoy the wines on offer and the brand can entertain trade VIPs.
