BEFORE YOU GET TO KNOW US BY OUR FIRST NAMES, THERE’S SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW:
WE’RE ALL DESIGNERS, AND WE WORK TOGETHER - WHAT ARE THE CHANCES
We are a small team of creative design professionals, based in our converted Quaker House in the depths of the Essex countryside.
We’ve worked as a team since1992 and thrive as a team too. We mix creativity with technology and common sense to produce workable, affordable solutions.
This approach is embodied in our working culture, it’s how we work, how we have always worked, it’s how we roll.
Designer, maker, part time potter and can-doer, Lesley is often seen carrying her faithful vintage wooden briefcase containing the tools that she's used to help shape and build the agency since 1992: a blank pad and a pen (not to mention a noggin full of ideas).
Her 'hands-on' approach and her enthusiastic pursuit of good working relationships with the people that she deals with (and the belief in the power of Earl Grey tea and G&T) is what sets her apart.
All of this coupled with a disarming and straight forward honesty, run right through every aspect of her role within W3. She loves nothing more than rising to the challenges and opportunities that come our way (some of them, quite random) "It's a bit like jelly hitting a wall sometimes" she says, "but it's never dull". Rest assured, Lesley has your back, she's passionate about our unique blend of creativity and our ability to deliver.
As quick and as bright as lightning that strikes a multitude of times - you need a Lesley in your life.
David is an unstoppable creative chainsaw of a designer (in the lumberjack sense of the word). He loves tackling the most complex and challenging design briefs head-on, capturing his ideas by casting a wide net with a penchant for the 'left-field' school of thought.
He believes that often (not always) the answer to a brief lies within the less obvious creative seams to be explored in the creative mind-scape. Over the many years that he's been in the design industry, he's observed a lot of changes (this sounds like a way of saying that he's really old - but actually he's younger than you'd think) after all, there is no substitute for experience.
He says of his role: The edge between art and graphics has become increasingly blurred over the years that I've been in the industry and If there's one thing I've learnt, it's that approaching a brief as an artist is more relevant now than it has ever been before

Aisha is a pixel-perfect Graphic Designer who takes pride in creating visually beautiful designs.
She has the super-power to quickly understand a clients requirements and come up with solutions at lightning speed with her cat - like reflexes.
She's spent half of her life working with W3 after being poached from 6th form... we'll let you do the maths (gulp).
She's been involved in the creation and development of new designs and concepts across a broad spectrum of styles. Working across a wide variety of projects ranging from glueing sugar cubes to life-sized fibre glass cows to project managing large scale re-brands and new identities.
Aisha is also extremely proficient in instagramming and has watched the movie 'Crocodile Dundee' at least 19 times, she's a self-confessed shutterbug and is never without a camera.
Don’t let J-L's panda obsession and mild manner fool you - one sip of a good cup of tea (no sugar, leave the teabag in) and Jamie-Leigh is transformed into a 3D visualising goddess with unimaginable technical powers!
She is always pushing to expand her already extensive knowledge and skills even further so that they can be applied to all forms of 2D and 3D design with her trusted steed 'Pegasus l' (yep, her Macintosh has a name) she will rise triumphant in all your multi-dimensional needs.
Her love of the theatre and her penchant for film (both the sci-fi and crime-thriller varieties) coupled with the ability to instantly transform into a super-being at events like Comic-Con (using one of her very own and numerous hand-crafted costumes), sets her apart from us mere muggles. Her creative brain ticks away like a vast steampunk engine fuelled by the ability to render ordinary and extraordinary things in the virtual world with immense detail and accuracy, while all the while remaining grounded in the real world.
Such powers can seem scary but don't worry, if you call and you speak to her say hello! She's a very unassuming 'super'.
"Strong in her, the force is" -Yoda.
